Weekly Wrap-Up: Woodworking & more!

Happy Valentine's Day!

After last week's drama, I am so glad that I have a nice, leisurely recap.  Yay!

Precap:

I mentioned this last week, but I finally took my first woodworking class!  I'm so antsy to do more, but I know that we have to go through the first classes before we can do our own stuff.  I asked in last week's Stumped on Sunday if anyone knows of good beginner furniture projects to do.  If you do, let me know!

Omg, I love this place!  I've been back twice in a month, so obviously I have even more photos to show you than the first time we went.  To whet your appetite, this is fried yuca topped with cabbage and crispy pork.

Here are the Tacos Hondureños, which are super delicious!  I'm starting to think that they don't make anything that's just "okay."  To see it all, including some of the most amazing Carne Asada, check it out on The Episodic Eater!

Now, I am actually taking a night class twice a week for something that I am really interested in learning.  It's completely nerdy and it might not even lead to anything worth the time I'm putting in, but it's definitely taking up a good chunk of my weeknights.  I'll update you later on it, but for now just now that my mystery class is something that will be part of my week for the next couple of months!

K Pasta

Some of my family members who live abroad were around this week.  We were intending to head to Michael's Pizzeria, but since the Zagat article and everything else mentioning how it was the best pizzeria in the U.S., it's just not a good idea to head over there anymore.  Oh well!

Instead, we went to K Pasta, which is a good substitute with no wait, ample parking, and cheaper prices.  Score!

I love this place because it's so low key and the food is still great.  Remember the first time we went?  Well, this time we ordered completely different dishes and you can see it all on The Episodic Eater!

Since today is Valentine's Day, I am excited to have a nice, quiet dinner with my guy.  I am feeling a bit under the weather, so we'll see if I can keep it together until then.

What do you have planned for tonight?
