Weekly Wrap-Up! ~ Diane's Vintage Zest!

Weekly Wrap-Up!

I hope you won't mind that I'm a day late with my Weekly Wrap-Up that I typically post on Wednesdays.  Yesterday was the twelfth anniversary of September 11, and I felt a little silly for posting about fun adventures with friends and food, out of respect for those affected.

Friday

That night, we met with some friends and had some good hang-out time at their house.  I snapped a picture of my sausage piled high with sauerkraut and some potatoes before digging in.  :)

Saturday

My guy had a bachelor party to attend, so I had the whole day to myself!  I had a huge lunch with my mom, aunt, and uncle at Bai Plu.  They ordered a hot pot soup and shrimp spring rolls.

I went with ebi and a sushi roll.  The roll on the bottom had baked scallops on top.  Fancy!

I went grocery shopping, ran tons of errands, and did a bit of catching up on blogs and e-mails too.  Fun times!

Sunday

My weekly cooking marathon went on as scheduled, and to celebrate we went to have Yogurtland!

Not really, but my poor dad had a tire pop on the freeway, and I went to pick him up from the dealership where he had his car towed.  He was hungry and instead of having dinner, he wanted to indulge his sweet tooth.  It must be genetic!

I had a crazy concoction as usual.  :)

Basically, this was the laziest weekend I've had in forever, if you don't count all of the chores I had to run.  Since my weekdays have been so busy, I'm not going to complain!

Did you have a lazy weekend?
