Weekly Wrap-Up: L.A. events & O.C. shopping! ~ Diane's Vintage Zest!

Weekly Wrap-Up: L.A. events & O.C. shopping!

I had so, so much fun this week!  A couple of amazing events in L.A. and so much fun with friends and family.  Let's get to it!

Precap (jump to):

Crave Expo

Mid-week, I went to the Crave Expo, a food expo with a fun mix of chefs, event planners, media, and individuals looking for inspiration.

I was just a bit more interested in the food than anything else, of course.  :)

However, I found some great desserts that may be destined for my sister's engagement party, bridal shower, or wedding some time soon!

It was a fun time with some serious party atmosphere!

The Lobster Rumble

On Friday, I headed to an event that I was looking forward to for a few months: The Lobster Rumble!

It was very different from last year's, but you know that the lobster rolls were the main event!

We had 15 to try, so I'm just sharing a couple here.  Check out the rest on The Episodic Eater!

Oh, and if that doesn't convince you, check out just one of the five delicious dessert spreads!  I'll just leave you with that.  :)

The OC Mix

Over the weekend, I went to The OC Mix, one of my favorite places in Orange County for just about everything.  We went for some furniture shopping, but I peeked around to a bunch of the shops too.

Long Beach Cocktail Hop

I had so much fun checking out four amazing restaurants and their signature summer cocktails all along Pine Street!  Here's a sneak peek of what is coming up on The Episodic Eater...

Industriel

After all of that eating for the week, my family decided to get together on Sunday night and... have diner.  Oy!  However, when I found out that my sister picked Industriel, a restaurant that was on my list for a while, I said yes!

Here are just two of the dishes we enjoyed that night, but to see all the delicious Provençale food with an L.A. twist, check out The Episodic Eater.  Mmm mmm!

And that was all of my week's adventures, all wrapped-up in a package.  :)

What did you do this weekend?
